Bitzer Farm (Montague)

John Bitzer (1924-2007) protected his 35-acre farm on Hatchery Road in Montague with help from Mount Grace in 2000. A frequent ribbon winner at the Franklin County Fair, John grew his vegetables without pesticides on land that has been farmed exclusively organically since the 18th century.
