Support Mount Grace on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, for Valley Gives Day--the annual day of giving for the Pioneer Valley!
- Starting Tuesday, April 25, you can use our Valley Gives page to schedule a gift to Mount Grace
The first $5,000 of gifts we raise through Valley Gives will now be matched by a challenge grant.
And join us in Montague at Element Brewing Company from 3-6pm and at The Rendezvous from 6pm-midnight to meet Mount Grace staff and supporters, learn about land conservation and volunteer opportunities, and toast Mount Grace's work to protect the Valley's most cherished places!
Your support will help many of the innovative projects Mount Grace is currently working on, including:
- Installing the accessible trail in Northfield at the Alderbrook Meadows Sanctuary. Contact Mount Grace to Volunteer
- Teaming up with families in Wendell and Montague to permanently protect their farms as part of the Mormon Hollow Working Lands Project, and
- Sustaining a statewide AmeriCorps program (created by Mount Grace in 2010), the Massachusetts Land Initiative for Tomorrow, which brings AmeriCorps members to Massachusetts each year to focus on land conservation and stewardship around the state, and
Mount Grace works in partnership with local towns and local people, and we invite all our members to get to know the land. Mount Grace is member-supported by friends and neighbors who have a common goal: they want to help keep communities, forests, farms, and landscapes whole, healthy, and permanently intact across the Commonwealth.
Valley Gives is a 24-hour celebration of generosity. During Valley Gives, nonprofits collaborate with the goal of getting thousands of Valley residents to support their favorite nonprofits. By participating, donors help charities become eligible for special prizes totaling $200,000.
