Ames Trail Grand Opening, 6/2

Join Mount Grace, community volunteers, and the Ames family to celebrate the completion and grand opening of the Gunnery Sergeant Jeff Ames Wheelchair-Accessible Trail at our Alderbrook Meadows Conservation Area.  The grand opening of the trail will feature speakers, a tour of the trail, and food provided by Mim's Market.

Located just south of the center of Northfield with parking on Route 63, our new fully-accessible trail allows people of all ages and abilities to immerse themselves in nature. The trail has been completed thanks to support from many community volunteers and in collaboration with representatives of regional Tribal Nations to ensure that the cultural resources of this historic site are recognized. Take the trail through a stunning grove of white pines to reach the observation deck overlooking a beautiful hidden pond.
