This year’s meeting is at Chimney Hill Farm in Petersham, one of the partners in Mount Grace’s landmark Quabbin to Wachusett Initiative which, together with our Quabbin Heritage Project, has now protected more than 4,100 acres!
Join Mount Grace and our hosts the Hall and Knapp families to celebrate the successful completion of our Quabbin to Wachusett Forest Legacy projects on the land at one of Petersham’s hidden gems. We'll have tours of the farm and land, local food from Diemand Farm, and a chance to hear the story of our Quabbin partnerships from Sarah Wells!
Tickets with lunch included are $30. Tickets for those bringing their own lunch are $10. All tickets may be purchased using the form at the bottom of this page. Please specify entree choice and whether you will attend a tour.
- 10:30 Sign in begins at the main table (please be here before 11 if you're planning to tour the land)
- 11:00 Refreshments and tours of the land
- 12:00 Lunch and Social Hour
- 1:00 Awards and Keynote from Sarah Wells
This year children are welcome at the Annual Meeting Kid’s Zone! Children can participate in activities hosted by our Youth Education Coordinator who will be present at all times and will be supported by experienced volunteers. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in free play with hay bales and a farmer’s market stand; a pumpkin estimation station with one grand prize winner who takes home the pumpkin; a leaf rubbing station; fall scavenger hunt; a visit to the animals; and a kid’s hike and read aloud if time allows!
Lunch includes a choice of BBQ chicken, vegetarian lasagna with red sauce, or vegan & gluten free black bean quinoa salad, plus roasted local vegetables, garden salad, cornbread, and gluten free apple crisp from Diemand Farm. Vegan desserts are also available on request. All tickets include complimentary snacks and coffee and one free adult beverage. Quabbin Sky Vineyard wines, Wachusett Brewing Company beers, and Mount Grace cyzer from Artisan Beverage Cooperative may also be purchsed at the drinks tent. Children 12 and under eat for free. This is a working farm, with free-ranging chickens and ducks, so please do not bring dogs.
