Northfield Authors & Artists Festival: Writing the Land

A collaboration between Mount Grace and the new online Authors and Artists Festival for 2020, join us for a celebration of land through poetry! Visit a Mount Grace-conserved property for inspiration and read your poem at the Authors and Artists Festival open mic.

How to Participate:

Visit your favorite Mount Grace property or branch out – see all the properties allowing public access on our Interactive Map. While there, or after, write poetry about or inspired by the place you visited, then sign up to read at the online Authors and Artists Festival on June 27th, 1-2pm.

About the Festival:

In response to the pandemic, the Authors and Artists Festival is an online distributed event from 11am to 2pm each Saturday in June 2020 celebrating creatives and creativity.

Speakers include: Archer Mayor, Paul Richmond (National Beat Poet Laureate), Lise Weil, Gretchen Holbrook Gerzina, Simone Alter-Muri, JuPong Lin, Cheryl Savageau, Christina Uss, and Deanna Cook, as well as many local authors and poets.

Activities include an open mic, art show, and children's programming.
