As we settle into Autumn, with full wood sheds and winter squash all laid, by we take time to reflect on all that we are grateful for. By the end of this month, we’ll be cleaning up after harvest dinners with friends and family, and wondering what’s next. One important day around here for Mount Grace is November 28th, when people all around the world are coming together to change our world and strengthen communities on Giving Tuesday.
Giving Tuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. In the last decade, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
To help us conserve more land this season, a group of generous donors have guaranteed that they will match all gifts that arrive before midnight on Giving Tuesday, doubling the impact of the work we can achieve together to a total amount of $10,000.
We hope you can join us in spreading the word about this day of giving, and join us for a special Giving Tuesday Trivia Night on Tuesday, November 28th 6:00-8:00pm at The Brewery at Four Star Farms.
