Sweetwater Farm (Petersham)
Sweetwater Farm is a family farm located on 100 acres of pasture and fertile cropland and operated for over 200 years. Mount Grace protected the farm, and surrounding woodlands, with a CR in 2007. For information about education programs, seasonable flowers and vegetables, healthy grass-fed beef, and organic lamb see the farm's website.

Pictures are from the Mount Grace summer tour of Sweetwater Farm in August, 2010.
Mount Jefferson (Hubbardston)
In 2002, Mount Grace helped the Town of Hubbardston protect the 250-acre Ryder tract, which is now open to the public for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and hunting as the Mount Jefferson Conservation Area. Trail maps are available from the Hubbardston Open Space Committee.
Rutland Brook (Barre)
As part of the Quabbin Corridor Connection Forest Legacy project, Mount Grace partnered with the Barre Conservation Commission to monitor conservation restrictions on land bought by Mass Audubon to be part of the Rutland Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in 2008. Rutland Brook is open to the public for hiking and nature study.
Morgan Memorial Fresh Air Camp (New Salem)
Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries has run a Fresh Air Camp for boys and girls ages 8 to 16 surrounded by woodlands, fields, and ponds in South Athol, Massachusetts since 1906. Goodwill protected 330 acres of the camp through the federal Forest Legacy program in 2007 with help from Mount Grace.

Davenport Pond (Petersham)
Mount Grace first began working on the conservation of Davenport Pond, which straddles the border of Petersham and Athol, after receiving a 2006 Forest Legacy grant. The successful completion of that project in early 2009 meant that the eastern shore of the pond was protected. Two other shoreline parcels were protected by their owners Town of Athol and Aleza Beauvais and Soren Rono (pictured).
Tom Swamp Research Forest
Harvard Forest conducts internationally-important research on a wide range of forest dynamics on thousands of acres of land, including 648 acres in Tom Swamp. The Tom Swamp Conservation Project, completed with Mount Grace in 2016, marks the first time Harvard University has chosen to place a CR on a parcel it owns.
Thanks to a Forest Legacy Grant, conservation of Tom Swamp with a Watershed Preservation Restriction held by the DCR’s Division of Water Supply Protection permanently secures this important research area.
