The 2018 Annual Meeting at Chimney Hill Farm in Petersham, celebrated Mount Grace’s landmark Quabbin to Wachusett Initiative which, together with our Quabbin Heritage Project, has now protected more than 4,100 acres!

Our hosts the Hall and Knapp families opened the farm to the community to commemorate this conservation success on the land at one of Petersham’s hidden gems.

More than 35 different landowners participated in the Quabbin projects.  Jim French, who was named the 2018 Conservator of the Region, thanked them in his speech, noting: “everyone participated because they loved their land. And thanks to these landowners, the millions of people who use Quabbin for their drinking water will benefit.”

Mount Grace thanks all of our partners in the project, and thanks to our Annual Meeting sponsors:

Heyes Forest Products,
Orange Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Westminster Pharmacy & Wine Shop, Chimney Hill Farm,
Brekka & Brekka Law Office, Brookside Equipment Sales, Hubbardston Veterinary Clinic, IC Federal Credit Union, King Phillip Restaurant, Mann Lumber, The Petersham Country Store, & Rose 32 Bakery
