Planned Gifts

Leave a Legacy

A planned gift can help you take care of your family’s financial needs while also creating a legacy to support the places you care about forever.

Bequests from Mount Grace members like Eleanor Whitney and Margaret Power Biggs have played a historic role in protecting the North Quabbin landscape. Today, Mount Grace members like Dan Leahy and Julia Rabin carry the tradition of legacy giving forward.

Julia and I have a beautiful life, living in a place that is quiet, has abundant wildlife and a dark night sky. We are embedded in a landscape of small towns, productive farms and forests, and warm loving friends. Dan Leahy

Protecting the uniqueness of this place takes a lot of resources. That is why Dan and I made the decision to include Mount Grace in our will. We have a special opportunity to truly shape our region’s landscapes. We hope you will join us in considering a legacy with Mount Grace. Julia Rabin

Now, more than ever, Mount Grace needs community support to protect cherished local landscapes. We invite you to support Mount Grace through a legacy gift.

There are several ways to make a planned gift, including:

  • Bequests of Cash: you can specify a gift of any amount to Mount Grace in your will

  • Residual Bequests: you can give a percentage of your estate

  • Bequests of Property: you can give a specific property to be sold to benefit conservation

  • Retirement Accounts: you can designate Mount Grace as beneficiary of your retirement account
