The Land Sustains the Tradition. Conservation Protects Them Both.

Good to see you at Huntstock.

Mount Grace is an accredited land trust working across North Central and Western Massachusetts to conserve the forests, farms, and waterways that support healthy, biodiverse communities — and the traditions, like hunting, that depend on them.

We work alongside hunters, hikers, trappers, farmers, and foresters because we believe protecting habitat and protecting the human traditions tied to it go hand in hand. Without conservation, we don't have wildlife to hunt. And without managing that wildlife, we don't have a healthy forest, or healthy land.

What's Huntstock?

We're proud to be part of Huntstock Northeast — a three-day festival celebrating the past, present, and future of hunting culture (8/7-8/9). Hunting and conservation go hand in hand. Without conservation, we don't have wildlife to hunt, and without managing wildlife, we don't have healthy forests or thriving landscapes. Join us alongside local & national organizations as we celebrate this sporting tradition.

Help protect local forests & farms.

The future of hunting depends on healthy forests, thriving wildlife, and protected landscapes. Your support helps Mount Grace conserve the places that make it all possible.

Wildwood Farm: In the heart of a wildlife corridor.

We're honored to help protect Wildwood Farm — the very farm Huntstock calls home — along with the open forest that surrounds it. This project helps weave together a mosaic of working farms and forests with natural landscapes, creating a regional corridor of more than 2,600 acres of protected open space.

It's also one of the most threatened; towns like Ashburnham sit on the frontier of suburban expansion. If we don't protect farms like Wildwood and the adjacent properties, they may easily be developed within the next 10 years.

Protect projects like Wildwood Farm and the surrounding landscape for future generations.
