Jaworski Farm

The 232-acre Jaworski Farm contains 30 acres of pasture where Walter Jaworski raises Devon and Scottish Highland cattle. The rest of the land is working forest, with one third of a mile of the New England National Scenic Trail on the property.

Public Access

Jaworski Farm is open to the public for non-motorized recreation including hiking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, nature study, birdwatching, and snowshoeing ONLY on the blazed section of the New England National Scenic Trail.

Note: There is no designated parking available for a trailer.

Parking is available for the New England National Scenic Trail off South Mountain Rd after the guardrail by the trailhead marker.

Property History

Walter Jaworski was raised on Jaworski farm and returned in the 1990s to take ownership from his mother Mary. In 2012, Mount Grace pre-acquired a CR on the land and transferred it to the Town of Northfield as part of the Metacomet-Monadnock Forest Legacy Project.
